As a non-profit, AILA is dependent on external funding, sponsorship and donations to ensure that Africans are better placed to participate effectively in the international legal community through equal opportunities in training, access to international law resources and provision of a platform for visibility of their expertise.  You can support one or more of our Projects listed below.

Training and Conferences Project, which aims to build and enhance capacity of Africans in international economic laws through funding the costs of any of the following aspects:

  • Travel to and Accommodation in African countries to deliver our services
  • Training and conference materials
  • Catering at our events
  • Administrative services
  • Marketing and PR

Access to Legal Resources Project, which aims to overcome the paywall barrier to accessing international law materials by African practitioners and scholars through funding the costs of any of the following aspects:

  • Subscription based international law databases
  • Research in contemporary issues in international economic law
  • Publication of our research
  • Research staff
  • Office premises

Recognition of African Legal Expertise Project, which aims to provide a platform for African international lawyers, through funding the costs of any of the following aspects:

  • Subscription for our Online Membership Directory of African international lawyers
  • Subscription for our Online publishing of posts and articles by African international lawyers
