Debbie Emmanuel is Head of Africa and the Middle East at the British Arab Commercial Bank, London.  Her role is to originate and execute both traditional and structured trade transactions. She has worked on various transactions across industries - oil & gas, metals & telecoms - in many of the countries including Ghana, Nigeria, Angola, Kenya, South Africa, and Ivory Coast. The deals have involved both financial institutions and corporates (local and international) on bilateral and syndicated bases.  Prior to J.P Morgan, Debbie worked at Standard Banks’ Structured Trade and Commodity Finance team. In the course of her time at Standard she worked in their London, South Africa and New York offices.  Debbie holds a Bsc in Computer Science from the University of Sussex and an MBA from City University Business School.
